Happy 10 Weeks of Pregnancy!

I celebrated in a really weird way... I barfed.

I've had nausea since before we found out officially that I was pregnant. Sometimes the nausea was really strong, but I had never actually thrown up. I kind-of prided myself in that.

For some strange reason, the actual throwing up started today. Isn't nausea as a symptom supposed to begin letting up at 10-12 weeks? Why is mine getting worse? Strange. It might be related to the other illnesses I'm dealing with (I have a sinus infection, ear infections and strep throat), or maybe my time just finally came.

I'm part of the club now! :)

Yay for nausea and barfing! Funny how a person can be so excited about that. ;)

Feeling nauseous makes you feel better about the pregnancy though.
With Katelynn I didn't barf until 9-10 weeks and it only lasted a few weeks. This time I haven't barfed at all. Gagged a couple times.

I usually started feeling sick between 9-10 weeks and it lasted until 16. I hope your barfing experiences are more related to the other problems! But I am glad you could put a happy face by your "club" status

I was nauseated the whole time I was pregnant and was so happy. We suffered a pregnancy loss so all my morning sickness in my second pregnancy was wonderful to me! So happy for you on your pregnancy!

I don't think I got sick for the firsts time until almost 12 weeks if I remember correctly. I was nauseated all the time, but I'm not someone who throws up.

I've only gotten sick 3 times I think and it was only after drinking milk, so maybe that means you won't get sick very often either.

I am 9w4d, and my brother is coming to visit tomorrow for 4 days. I have been wondering in the back of my mind if I will be one of the women who is sick later, when he is here- apparently like you! I have also had nausea nearly all the time but no actual getting sick yet ;-)

No matter what, I know we are both loving the pregnancy symptoms :)

Yay for barfing and for 10 weeks down! (Never thought I would ever write yay for barfing)

I only barfed once when preggers with my son - it was around 10 weeks after I ate an egg salad sandwich and moved a couple of boxes. So don't eat egg salad and try to move boxes!

Haha pregnancy is funny! It makes us excited over things we normally wouldn't ever be! :) With my little boy my morning sickness actually got worse around 10 weeks, peaked at 13 and didn't go away until 15 weeks. Same thing happened this time. Funny huh? Glad to hear you are doing "good"! :)

Happy ten weeks to you :) Im so jealous you are barfing. I want to be barfing. Well, only if it was baby related :) I heard barfing is good though? A sign the baby is growing? Hope you feel better with all the other junk going on :(

I'm saying it's a girl. :) I was gaggy even before I found out I was pregnant, then starting throwing up at 8 weeks. It went away at 13 and then came back with a vengance at 18. An old wives tale is that you're "sicker" with a girl because of all the extra estrogen.

A quarter of your pregnancy has now passed... time is flying!!!

I would feel better if I were you! When I miscarried all of my symptoms stopped. Especially the morning sickness. I am so happy for you though! Dreams do come true!!!! :)

Just like all the other comments "Yeah for the Barfs" I puked for the first time at around 6 1/2 wks in the middle of my hubby's Dental School graduation, And mine lasted till about 25 wks. Whether it's a Boy or a Girl... Whooo Hoo its a Baby & I am so so so Happy for You & your Busband. It is really hard walking out of the RE for that last appointment. It's a place that many of us couples get to know so well. Those nurses are Amazing, helping us cope with our many losses and emotions. "Special" is what they are. Even though I barely know you, I was crying when I heard your wonderful news. Infertility is a very hard trial. And like you said in one of your posts it changes who you are for ever. You will always have a huge place in your heart for the many women who are struggling with this same trial. That compassion and understanding will never go away. It's surprising for me to say now that I am a better person because of my many years and experiences with Infertility & Losses. IUI #5 was our final and Lucky cycle too, that brought my sweet Kaedyn Brook into our home. I sure love reading all your posts and thoughts like when you said, " I never thought another woman would be in the room when I conceived a child, but if someone had to be, I’m glad it was her". I Love It.. I felt the same way. Tons of Hugs, Prayers and Happiness sent your way. Love, Kiley Powell
