Changing of the Guards…

Last night I turned over all my pregnancy tests to Ryan, even those cheap ones I never use (the ones where you have to pee in a cup and dip the stick).

This is going to be a loooong 2 weeks…

This is smart. I would be tempted to get them behind my hubby's back though. Sorry to hear your journey has been so long. I too had unexplained infertility (IVF explained it) and it's heartbreaking. We have been at it for almost 5 years. I hope neither one of us see another year!

Good luck Michelle...both with staying away from pee sticks and with having a positive result at the end of the wait.

I read this really interesting article by a feminist academic about pregnancy tests. She writes about how even though the tests are commonly thought of as a feminist invention -- since they allow women to find out if they're pregnant in private -- they have a lot of really negative impacts too, like making people obsessive. Good luck, and happy ICLW.

You are so strong for letting him hide those tests! I have always tested during my two week wait... I hope you get positive news when those two weeks are up!

FB an infertile's worst enemy! It's like reading a Christmas letter 365 days of the year--you know, wonderful life, wonderful kids, wonderful pets, blah, bah, blah.

Best wishes on your cycle.

Oooh, that's a smart move! I hate trying to overcome the urge to POAS. Wishing you all the best for your 2WW and beyond. And happy ICLW! Kim
