That is the scary word.
Apparently, a perinatologist is "an obstetrical subspecialist concerned with the care of the mother and fetus at higher-than-normal risk for complications".
I have an appointment with a perinatologist today to take a closer look at Beanie and make sure everything looks okay. I am nervous and I'm so grateful Ryan will be with me.

I hope it goes well and you get reassuring news. I can understand being nervous. Seeing a specialist (or subspecialist) sounds so *official* it makes it more intimidating.

I just checked your blog! Wow! I am so happy for you!!!! I am sorry about you losing one of the twins though. I am praying for a very healthy baby for you. You deserve it after all that you have been through. Thoughts and prayers with you. :)
